The meeting report is now available from the DPA Digital Single Market Group held on Monday 23rd March, 1245-1445, in Westminster, chaired by Malcolm Harbour CBE, former Chair of IMCO and Director of the DPA. The aim of the meeting was to maintain the momentum of the previous DSM Group meeting held on Thursday 12th March and to provide consolidated input to IMCO, the Ansip team and associated commissioners.
This may be of particular interest to members and associates wishing to define their political priorities for transforming the Digital Single Market into a dynamic engine of growth and job creation, including via mobile connectivity and cloud computing, ensuring ubiquitous access to commercial and e-government services and strengthening cross-border interoperability. Participation in the work of the Group also affords an opportunity to help ensure a pro-competitive regulatory framework that promotes investment and also leads to superior outcomes for consumers, while seeking a solution to barriers created by the red tape.
Please email [email protected] if you wish to attend. All DPA members and registered observers are invited.
The Group will convene regularly to follow through the detailed implementation of the Ansip plans and other relevant Commission and Parliament initiatives.
