Date(s) - 23/02/2016
14:30 - 16:30
The next meeting of the DPA Age Verification Group will be on Tuesday 23rd February from 14.30-16.30 in Westminster. The purpose of the meeting is to focus on the ongoing political debate and developments, including liaising with Government officials and informing ministerial opinion. An important role for the Group is to determine and inform what would be both effectively compliant and commercially viable in the real world.
In helping to meet this objective, members of the AVG are invited to assist in the production of a 1-page briefing for parliamentarians on the key issues, e.g. how effective ISP and payments blocking might be, both for those websites where the primary purpose is to provide age-restricted material, and those where age-restricted material is minor or incidental.
Please email email@example.com to register your attendance if you have not already done so.
This meeting is for DPA members and registered observers only. If you are interested in becoming a member we would welcome your attendance as a taster, but before any further participation, you would then need to join us. More details are available at: https://dpalliance.org.uk/join-us/.
